Promoting Visual Literacy with Digital Storytelling

posted by Paul

This installment from F E T C 2011, called Promoting Visual Literacy with Digital Storytelling, is presented by Janetta Garton and Matt Rosebrough. The program guide says of this presentation:
Digital storytelling opens a window to the world of visual literacy for students of any age; adding images, music and voice recordings to personal writing provides an opportunity for students to view and hear their writing through the eyes of an audience. This session details the process of teaching students how to use a variety of online resources to mix text, images, narration, music, and animation to create digital stories. Access to all product material will be provided.
